 "The Blaze" is best known as a trailblazing women's basketball player from Montclair State College where she was a three time All-American and awarded the inaugural Wade Trophy for the National Collegiate Player of the Year. She also served as captain of the 1980 U.S. women's Olympic basketball team and is a Naismith Basketball Hall of Famer. Coach Blaze also spent 14 years as president and general manager of the New York Liberty, building one of the most successful franchises in the Women's National Basketball Association history. As the president of Blaze Hoop Crew, she brings over 40 years of basketball experience to the organization. |
